The
Key attraction of the resort has undoubtedly got to be the
infinity pool. Running the length of the resort it seems to
flow gently off the hillside and directly into the calm, crystal
blue waters of the lake below.
The furnishings inside are pure understated elegance. Radiant
fireplaces, fine ceramics from local kilns, and antiques from
the mainland decorate the hallways and the rooms. Exceeding
1,000 square feet, the suites boast of a balcony with uninterrupted
views of the lake and mountains, while the private enclosed
villas offer just partial views.

The
lalu Spa and Rejuvenation Centre offer a host of Eastern and
Western restorative treatments using only the best from Mother
Nature. Revitalize your body and refresh the mind with traditional
Asian and specialty western massages and rejuvenating body scrubs,
such as Turmeric & Green Tea, Grapefruit & Rose or Cinnamon
& Tangerine. Enjoy the amenities such as the herbal steam
rooms, aromatic saunas and plunge pools offering vistas of the
majestic lake.
Sun Moon Lake has an old name - Shui Lian Sha, meaning where
water and sand meet. With Lalu Island (formerly Guang Hua Island)
providing the boundary, the south of the Lake is shaped like
an arc of moon, while north is shaped likes a solar disk. That
is how it got the name Sun Moon Like.
Considered by many to be the most exclusive property in Taiwan,
The Lalu, Sun Moon Lake is a destination unto itself. SA |
